Dear friends of Opa Greek Restaurants,

It is with great emotion that I address this message to you. Since 2007, when I first opened Opa Greek Restaurant here in Chattanooga, I didn’t know what the future would hold. However, I had a vision: to create a place where people could taste authentic Greek cuisine, feel the warmth of our hospitality, and share with us the true "OPA!" from our hearts.
This city, the "Scenic City," rightfully carries that title. Its history, valleys, mountains, and energy make it unique. Here, in this beautiful corner of Tennessee, I have met and shared moments with so many people—customers who became friends and companions on my journey. And every time someone entered Opa, they weren't just walking into a restaurant—they were walking into my home.
We've had our ups and downs, joys and sorrows, but we’ve always had you. Your support, from Chattanooga, the wider region, and beyond, gave us the strength to continue offering the best. Everyone who passed through Opa has given us priceless moments.
Today, I want to inform you that Opa will be taking a short break for renewal. From now until February 7, 2025, we will be working to improve our space, services, and the experience we offer. Our goal is to return refreshed and ready to provide even more for you.
I cannot express how grateful I am for the love and trust you have shown us all these years. You are the Opa family, and I, Michalis, promise to continue offering you the same warmth and hospitality that we’ve had since day one.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart, and I look forward to celebrating with you again on February 6, 2025, at OPA OPEN. Until then, stay tuned, because the best is yet to come—and it's more OPA than ever!
Sincerely,
Michalis Borodimos
