WHO IS BEHIND OPA?
OPA was never created to be just a restaurant.
Behind OPA stands a journey that began far from America — in Greece, near Ancient Olympia, where history, philosophy, and hospitality were born thousands of years ago.
I grew up learning that hospitality is not simply service.
It is respect.
It is connection.
It is the art of making people feel seen, valued, and truly welcomed.
My father, a maître d’ hôtel who worked in some of Europe’s finest hotels, taught me from a young age that true elegance is not luxury it is how you treat people.
Years later, life brought me to the United States.
Chattanooga became home — not by plan, but by destiny.
OPA was born here, not as a business idea, but as a feeling.
A place where strangers become friends.
Where dinner becomes celebration.
Where every evening carries the living spirit of Greece.
Today, guests travel from different cities and states simply to experience OPA.
Many tell me:
“This is not a restaurant… it’s an experience.”
And they are right.
There is no ordinary night at OPA.
No fixed script.
Only moments, emotions, music, laughter, and memories created together.
OPA Greek Restaurant continues to evolve into The OPA Experience — a journey that begins in Chattanooga and lives wherever people seek joy, authenticity, and human connection.
Whether you are two guests or fifty, we welcome life’s special moments — birthdays, anniversaries, weddings, rehearsal dinners, and private celebrations
Supported by dedicated parking at three nearby locations to ensure every visit feels effortless and elevated.
Because Opa Greek Restaurants was never meant to be just a place.
It was meant to be a feeling.
